Why Has My Google Ads Account Been Suspended?
Have you received an email recently from Google Ads notifying you that your account has been suspended for breaching one or more of their policies? If it's any consolation, you are just one of thousands of businesses across the UK who have received this email and the reason for this is still very much unclear but don't worry, there is a way to get your Google Ads account unsuspended. Did you know, that over 85% of UK businesses have been wrongly suspended. Whilst this is annoying and could be detrimental for your businesses, there is an easy-ish solution.
The most common reason for suspension is:
"Account suspended for violation of the following policy: Misrepresentation"
Unfortunately, "misrepresentation" can mean a thousand things. I suppose you've already seen read their guide on their Misrepresentation Policy, which is more mind boggling than the reason why your account was suspended in the first place. It might be worth while reading this policy, just in case you're the 15% of UK business of which have actually violated the Google Ads policy.
How to get your Google Ads account unsuspended.
First of all, if you're trying to contact Google, stop! The only way you can get your Google Ads account unsuspended is to submit an appeal (see below).
