What is Google Ads?
Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) is an advertising network created by Google. It is used by businesses around the world to advertise their products or services directly to potential customers. One of the most common adverts used in their network is the ad you see at the top of Google’s search results pages. Google Ads also includes display ads, which are found on millions of websites as visual advertising.
Google Ads works by allowing businesses to pay to display their business’s website for specific queries searched for by users in Google’s search engine, in a pay-to-display or pay-per-click auction system. Display ads in Google Ads work by a tracking system that monitors people’s activity online and the websites they visit, matching those people to adverts about products or services similar to their interests.
Anyone can set up a Google Ads account. However, the system is complex and does take some time to adapt to, so we recommend speaking to a Google Ads agency if you lack the time required to learn the platform.
How do your management fees work?
We charge a flat management fee of £499/month for our PPC management, unlike agencies that charge a percentage of ad spend.
Why? Because if we charge a percentage of ad spend, our goal would be to maximise your ad spend rather than your profit — even if increasing your ad spend doesn’t make sense!
With a fixed management fee, our goals align with yours, so you can relax knowing that we’re making suggestions to make you more money, not us.
Your ad spend is also paid directly to Google, so you know that we don’t cream anything extra off the top.
What are the benefits of Google Ads?
Google Ads is a fantastic way for businesses to increase traffic to their websites quickly.
Whereas it can take many months or years for a business to rank at the top of Google for their most important search queries through SEO, Google Ads’ pay-per-click advertising platform allows businesses to appear at the top of Google almost immediately.
While traffic is almost immediate, it does come at a price as many businesses will compete and bid for the most profitable keyword phrases.
If your business urgently needs increased traffic or website sales and leads, then Google Ads is the best way to achieve this.
For many businesses, running a Google Ads campaign can be extremely fruitful for increasing trade. But setting one up can be highly time-intensive, which is why we recommend using a Google Ads management service to ensure that the campaign is run by dedicated experts that can continually optimise for efficiency.
How will I know what you're doing?
We know you want to be kept in the loop with what’s going on with your ad campaigns. You want to know what we’re doing, and most importantly, what we’ve achieved.
We provide transparent monthly PPC reports that break down all of your campaign data and explain the performance of your ads and landing pages. Your reports will detail your click-through rates, conversion rates, your ROAS (return on ad spend), and more.
You also have full, unlimited access to your Account Manager who will be available by email, phone and WhatsApp to answer any questions you might have.
What happens if I am not happy?
We’re in the business of making people happy, not sad.
Every one of our clients is on a rolling 30-day contract, so if we have unhappy clients, we have no business!
But if you’re not happy, we want to know.
We consistently help businesses to reach their revenue goals, so when it looks like we’re heading slightly below our targets, we’ll take preemptive action to do something about that.
So if at any point you feel your campaign isn’t heading in the direction you expected, let us know. We’ll discuss together how we can deliver on our commitments.
Or if you’d rather stop your campaign completely, all you need to do is give us 30 days notice. We don’t tie people into year-long contracts. We prefer to let the success of our marketing convince our clients to stay rather than locking them in with long contracts and solicitors.
